About the academy

Firmware is behaviour at the hardware boundary.

The Firmware Academy is for people who need to understand not just what embedded code says, but what the complete device will actually do.

Purpose

Firmware sits where timing, electronics, software and physical behaviour meet. Small implementation decisions can affect safety, reliability, security and the ability to verify a product. The Academy makes those connections visible.

Our central question
Can the intended behaviour—and the evidence supporting it—be explained clearly enough for another engineer to review, test and maintain?

Who it is for

How the material is organised

The curriculum moves through three connected routes: execution, resilience and assurance. Modules are designed to stand alone, but together they form a practical path from architecture and run-time control to verification and lifecycle evidence.
